Eight more COVID-19 deaths in Minnesota

ST. PAUL, MINN. (Valley News Live) - The Minnesota Department of Health is reporting eight more deaths from COVID-19 in the state, bringing the death toll to 1,485.

Of those 1,485 deaths, 1,161 happened in a nursing home or long-term care facility. 38 deaths are listed as probable COVID-19, meaning a positive test result isn’t on file.

463 new cases are reported on Wednesday, bringing the active case count to 3,202.

265 people are currently in the hospital with the virus, with 122 of them in the ICU.

34,902 Minnesotans are listed as recovered.
