One person was taken to the hospital after they ran into a combine.

Minnesota State Patrol says it happened Tuesday morning around 6. 79-year-old Norman Dahl of Mahnomen was heading west on Jefferson Ave. and turned to head south on Hwy. 59.

A John Deere combine driven by 30-year-old Zachary Kopel of Danube, MN was heading north on Hwy. 59.

Authorities say Dahl didn't see the combine coming and the two crashed. Kopel wasn't injured. Dahl was taken to a hospital but is expected to be ok.
